Delegates from our team at Reed Medical Foot Orthotics are preparing to attend the College of Podiatry (COP) Annual Conference, where they will be showcasing footwear from our unique PODartis® collection. This range of specialist shoes and trainers is designed to prevent, reduce and ultimately stop the pain caused by foot pathologies, especially those related to diabetes and rheumatism.
The COP Annual Conference is recognised as one of the most important events of the year on the podiatry calendar. Last year, attendance figures for the conference were in excess of 1,350 people and even more are expected this year to learn about the latest research, product innovations and clinical skills in the field. The event also offers a unique and valuable opportunity for networking and sharing information and ideas.
For more than five decades, Reed Medical has been designing, manufacturing and supplying a range of fully-bespoke orthopaedic footwear to the NHS as well as to private patients. Starting with the most modern and powerful CAD/CAM software to produce bespoke patterns, our skilled and experienced shoemakers create each and every single pair from scratch, ensuring total accuracy and compliance with stringent guidelines.
Items from the PODartis® range of footwear, which we will be showcasing to visitors at the COP Annual Conference, features an innovative biomechanical outsole, which has been clinically proven to reduce pressure peaks and ensure a smooth transition to protect the 'at risk' foot. With stretch or heat mouldable uppers, the PODartis® collection of ready-to-wear shoes and trainers is the perfect option for a timely intervention.
The COP Annual Conference will take place over three days from the 21st to the 23rd November 2019. Harrogate Convention Centre, located in North Yorkshire, is the venue. If you're there, please come and visit us at our stand: if you can't make the event, please subscribe to our regular, feature-packed newsletter for updates.
